Keeping Track Of Time
If you haven’t noticed, I have increased the number of posts here at TinselTown Trash. As I surf the web each day I find a great number of celebrities to blog and things were beginning to get a bit backlogged here.
The biggest problem I’ve had so far is remembering which day it is, so I know what type of post I should be doing. In fact, I have been looking at this shiny new Seiko watch that would eliminate my “habit” of not knowing which day it is.
I’ve always like the Seiko Kinetic watches, especially the ones that show me the date with just a glance. Of course, the best watch would be the one that actually wrote the posts for me.

While most of us were celebrating April Fool’s Day, someone else was dealing with one of the worst things someone should ever have to deal with. I don’t know Lisa, from Clusterfook, personally, but she is a friend of my sister’s and I found out what is going on with her through my sister’s blog.
Lisa has had her share of problems in the past, and as a two-time survivor of ovarian cancer she is a hero and role model to anyone who happens to know her. I can’t begin to imagine the feeling of finding out that you have cancer, let alone that you have it for the second time. Well, now she has to face another unimaginable reality. She has cancer for the third time, and this time it has spread.
In the comments of her post she mentioned that she would love to take her daughters to DisneyWorld, so a group of her friends has organized a raffle. If you donate any amount to help her fulfill her dream of taking her daughters to DisneyWorld, you could win one of 12 prizes, which are listed at Miss Ann Thrope’s site.

Tomorrow Is The Day
Tomorrow is going to be a long day. We have an appointment at 9 am at the vet that is clear across the universe and will take us an hour and a half to get there (if traffic keeps moving smoothly).
Depending on the outcome at the vet, tomorrow’s posts may be a bit on the light side. Keep your fingers crossed and keep saying those prayers.
Updating Technology
Sorry it’s been slow around here, have had a lot of work to do and well, now I’ve done it. Because of the extra work, I had some extra bucks, and one thing leads to another.
In an effort to update some of the equipment I have around here, I bought a new monitor, a new digital camera, and a new battery backup box for my computer. At least I’m ready to snap pictures if anything ever happens in my neck of the woods.
Oh yeah, and the wife is wondering why my purchases didn’t include any jewelry. Hmm. It seems to have slipped my mind.
I’ll post some pics later tonight or tomorrow from the new cam.

Doesn’t it make you wonder sometimes? Britney Spears always finds a place where the paparazzi is waiting, where there is room to move around and strike the pose she is looking for and the lighting is always perfect. Why does it always happen this way? I bet most of the places she goes have seagull lighting, which provides the perfect conditions for all those photographers ready to capture the latest picture of her butt hanging out.
