Wow. 6 pounds, 7 ounces. She was bigger than I thought she would be. Isn’t that like one-fourth what Nicole weighed before she found out she was pregnant? I can hardly wait to see the baby pics. Do you think they will go to amby baby or stick with some secret tabloid to take the pics?
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden greeted the arrival of their daughter with joy and thanks.
“We are very blessed she’s healthy and beautiful and so good already,” Madden told PEOPLE on Saturday. “We are very happy.”
Richie, 26, and Madden, 28, welcomed 6-lb., 7-oz Harlow Winter Kate Madden on Friday, the couple’s rep at Handprint Entertainment says, and the Hollywood congratulations started flowing.
Congratulations to the proud parents.
Is Nicole Richie Shrinking?
We all know Nicole Richie has had her share of “weight” problems, but don’t you think this photograph is taking it just a little bit too far?
After months of rumors, Nicole Richie confirmed Tuesday that she is pregnant. “Yes I am. We are,” Richie told ABC News’ Diane Sawyer for an interview to be aired this week. “I’m almost four months.”
Richie’s boyfriend, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, is the father, she told ABC, which issued a news release about the interview.
They couldn’t have made him look larger if they tried. You can’t tell me this wasn’t planned.
Nicole Richie Arrested For DUI
Apparently Nicole Richie was not getting enough press time lately.
TMZ has learned that Nicole Richie was arrested for DUI early Monday morning. She was booked at 4:50 AM today and was released around 7:15 this morning. The booking sheet reveals Richie is 5′1″ and 85 lbs.
We’re told two motorists spotted her SUV going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank. The drivers called 911.
When the CHP responded, Richie was stopped in the carpool lane and was alone in the vehicle. When cops approached the vehicle, Richie was on her cellphone.
Law enforcement officers tell TMZ Nicole Richie admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot.
Everyone seems to be focusing on her weight in the arrest report, which you can read via the Smoking Gun website.

Nicole Richie Seeks Treatment
We’ve seen this coming for a long time.
Nicole Richie is taking a break from The Simple Life to seek help in her own life.
The 25-year-old reality TV star is in an undisclosed private facility, her publicist exclusively tells E! News, “to undergo diagnostic treatment to determine why she’s not been putting on any weight.”
“She is working with a team of doctors and specialists whose focus is nutrition,” says the rep. “It is important to Nicole that she achieve this goal in a healthy way, [but] this is not a treatment for an eating disorder.”
Richie’s treatment means work on the new season of The Simple Life, which will find Richie and recently reconciled pal Paris Hilton as camp counselors, is temporarily on hold.

Word has it that Nicole Richie is finally admitting she has an eating disorder. As strange as that girl is, it’s nice to see her speaking out about it. Better late than never.
Nicole Richie, whose drastic weight loss spawned speculation that she has an eating disorder, acknowledges she is “too thin” and is getting treatment to add pounds, in an interview in Vanity Fair.
“I know I’m too thin right now, so I wouldn’t want any young girl looking at me and saying, `That’s what I want to look like,’” the 24-year-old “Simple Life” star tells the magazine in its June issue, on newsstands Tuesday.
Oh the good old days…
Remember when all she had to worry about were the normal rich girl problems? No matter. We’ll stick by her side, through thick and thin.
