Do you remember when Britney Spears was on fire, literally, and the world was hers?

Oh man, I miss Amanda Peet. I miss Studio 60. I know, the show wasn’t that great, but I liked it. It helped me escape reality for an hour at a time, and I got to do it while watching Amanda Peet.

Did I mention that I miss Amanda Peet? She just reminds me of the type of gal who is very down to earth, who loves to shop antique stores looking for old dining room furniture.

Do you remember the days when Hollywood stars all looked as glamorous as Helen Mirren? I bet her house is all decked out so she can sit back and watch movies in style. I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t have a “theatre” room with comfy chairs and home theater sconces.

Don’t you remember when Danica was just another pretty face?

This past weekend, Danica made Indy Car history when she became the first woman to win in that series. Congratulations Danica!

I wonder what commercials we’ll see her in now? Now that she has won a race, she has more legitimacy in the sport (not that I thought she needed it, I knew she was good). Will she be selling auto parts? spoilers? Or a product completely unrelated to racing?

Everytime I see a photo of Marisa Tomei, I can’t help but think about “Untamed Heart” which was an excellent movie. She is probably best known for her roll in “My Cousin Vinny” though. In both movies her characters were a little offbeat, but she was hot back then, and she’s still hot now.

When I look at Whitney Houston, I feel old. Dionne Warwick looks great! Don’t you remember the days when Whitney didn’t look stoned all the time?

Heck, don’t you remember the days when she didn’t have to squish her boobs up like that to get the camera’s attention? Maybe she should put on some thigh high boots and strut herself on stage. I bet she would look real good, til she fell down or tripped over nothing.
