Michelle Rodriguez Is Going To Jail

I bet she’s wishing she performed that 30 days of community service huh?

Actress Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced on Wednesday to 180 days in a Los Angeles jail for violating her probation on previous drunken-driving and hit-and-run offenses.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered the former “Lost” actress to jail after she admitted failing to complete community service obligations contrary to a signed document stating otherwise, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said. She must start her term by Christmas Eve.

Rodriguez, 29, was also found to have consumed alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, in violation of a probation requirement she refrain from drinking for 90 days, Mateljan said.

When she was first arrested she served just 4 hours and 20 minutes, because of overcrowding at the jail. She was given the typical “Hollywood” treatment, so you’d think she would buck up and get the community service done so it would be behind her. Now, instead, she’ll be spending Christmas in the slammer, at the expense of the fine citizens of Los Angeles.

I guess this blows a hole in my “the girls get off easy” theory, huh?
