Brad Pitt, Champion Of The Environment
Brad Pitt has been all over the news this week because of his Maike It Right project. Now he’s in the news because he’s not quite making it right.
After a day of sightseeing in the city, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie left the kids with their nannies and hit the Hamptons yesterday.
The celebrity couple hosted a lavish dinner party to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims at the home of Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, the married couple who co-founded the Tribeca Film Festival with Robert De Niro.
The swanky fund-raiser was held to promote Pitt’s Make It Right project, which is focused on rebuilding New Orleans’ impoverished Ninth Ward with environmentally friendly homes.
Nothing says “I love the environment” like spearheading a project to build environmentally friendly homes, right? What do you say then, when the said “spearheader” arrives by a very environmentally non-friendly means?
Brangelina arrived by helicopter at 5:30 p.m. at the Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton after heavy fog forced the chopper to bypass East Hampton Airport.
Is Baby Watch 2006 Finally Over?
Finally. Can we all concentrate on something else now? Like little blinking lights on the vcr?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are the proud parents of a baby girl they named Shiloh Nouvel, Star has learned.
The child was born the night of Saturday, May 27 in the African country Namibia where the couple have spent the last two months living with their two adopted children, Maddox, 4 and 16 month-old Zahara.
Little Shiloh arrived a week earlier than expected, according to an insider who told Star: “Angelina was originally planning to induce the baby June 3, the day before her birthday. But lately she has been feeling quite uncomfortable so she decided to have it induced early.”
Shiloh can be a name for a girl or boy. Pronounced SHYE-loh, it’s origin is Hebrew where it means God’s Gift. In the bible, it’s a prophetic name for the Messiah.
And Shiloh is also the site of an important battle fought in Tennessee in the American Civil War in 1862. Nouvel is a French word that means ‘new’ in English.
Then again, it might be fun to watch her warped cross. Nah.

Brad Pitt tailored the role for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston when she was serving as Mrs. Pitt, but when the divorce set in, apparently the production company they founded together, Plan B, cut her fee for ‘The Senators Wife’ without so much as a how-dee-do to the actress.
Rumor has it that Aniston, who is really only doing this to hold up her end of the bargain, called Pitt to ask him what happened, and to intervene in the negotiations to ensure she is paid her proper fee.
So, have you heard the one about the schmuck who ended up being a big dick?
Continues the source, “Brad told Jennifer the original fee would be honoured, but he also asked her politely to ’stop badgering’ him.”
Badgering him? She wants her due compensation for the project and he thinks she is badgering him? Wait til Angelina gets her little fangs into him. He’s going to wish the only thing he had to worry about was being badgered.
And to make matters worse, “…He later mentioned to Angelina that Jennifer called him, which left Angelina livid. Jen is calling Brad repeatedly on his cell phone - Ange can’t take the interference and has told Brad to tell Jen to fuck off.”
She’s a real class act, aint she? Oh yeah, I can hardly wait to see the battle scars from this one. Mr. Pitt is getting exactly what he deserves.
I wonder what Angelina will think of the “interference” when their baby girl spends more time with daddy than she does.

Of all the things in the world that she was craving, we never suspected Reese’s Pieces.
We always thought she was more of a Pickled Egg person.
Angelina Jolie has been so desperate for a particular chocolate she has had them flown out to Namibia to satisfy her pregnancy cravings.
A huge crate of Reese’s Pieces, the peanut butter-filled chocolates, were flown straight out from the Hershey factory, where they are made, to the ‘Tomb Raider’ star, who is currently preparing to give birth to lover Brad Pitt’s baby.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “The cry went out, but none of the sweets could be found. Angelina was so determined she ordered a huge box straight from the factory in Pennsylvania.
“She hasn’t had many cravings during her pregnancy but suddenly got the taste for their peanut butter and chocolate combo.”
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old actress has spoken to America’s People magazine to rebuff several recent rumors about her pregnancy.
Among rumors denied by Angelina were plans for a water birth and choosing the name Africa for her new arrival.
Let’s hope they didn’t melt before they arrived in Namibia.
