Britney Spears Gets Early Release From Hospital

Wow. Britney Spears was taken to the hospital on Thursday night, where she was placed on a “5150″ 72 hour hold, but about 36 hours later she walks out of the hospital. It just doesn’t make sense.

Is it me, or is Britney’s life becoming more and more like Judy Garland’s, Marilyn Monroe’s, and Anna Nicole Smith’s? Seriously, is she trying to be like them or is there something seriously wrong with her? Well, if she’s trying to be like them, where their troubles were concerned, there is definitely something wrong with her, but you know what I mean.

Television’s “Dr. Phil” McGraw said Britney Spears was released from a hospital Saturday but still needs psychological help, the syndicated programs “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider” reported in a press release.

The troubled pop star was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by paramedics Thursday night after police were called to her home because of a dispute involving the two sons she had with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

“My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention,” McGraw told the programs.

I have heard reports that they found no drugs or alcohol in her system this time. What explains this then? Is she bipolar? Did she just snap? What’s going on?

Maybe I shouldn’t ask.
