I Feel Like A Celebrity
One thing I love about my small town bank, is when I walk in the door, I am treated like a celebrity. Everyone knows my name (and no, it’s not because I am infamous or anything), and they treat me like I am one of their biggest depositors.
Recently, I have had a hell of a time with my debit card being compromised, and they have done an outstanding job handling matters for me. I am, however, considering opening a couple of new checking accounts, for the sole purpose of paying bills, etc. This way, the only money available to hackers would be the little that’s left over after paying those bills. WaMu offers free identity theft protection too, which might make things even easier.
