This is his 4th DUI! This punishment is more like what one would get for a second offense. It's partly because it's California, and I suspect partly because of his celebrity. In most states, your 4th DUI would mean you would NEVER drive again, and you would likely do at least 2 years in jail. First offense you lose your license for a year in many states, and will have at least a suspended jail sentence with probation, second offense requires at least some stay in the joint, and I think 5 year loss of license. I could go on, but the point is, they aren't cracking down at all. Sutherland is getting off light as hell. Hate to break it to ya Slobokan, but he’s actually getting of REALLY light.
