Keira Knightley: Dead Man’s Chest
Why do so many young women make this mistake? When the entire world can see your backbone while looking at your chest, it’s time to get help.
Oscar-nominated actress Keira Knightley says her family has a history of anorexia but insisted Tuesday that she does not have an eating disorder.
The slender 21-year-old, in London to promote “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” rejected suggestions that she was anorexic or had another eating disorder that came after she appeared in the film’s premiere in a revealing gold Gucci gown.
“I’ve got a lot of experience with anorexia - my grandmother and great-grandmother suffered from it, and I had a lot of friends at school who suffered from it,” Knightley said. “I know it’s not something to be taken lightly and I don’t.”
She said she was surprised by any suggestion that she had an eating disorder.
Given her current state, Miss Knightley could take over Johnny Depp’s role, and other than the lack of facial hair, many would not even notice.

Oh definitely.
But they know it happens to them, thats why they continue to lie to all of us.
No one wants to hire an actress with a “sickness” so they would rather look stupid and lie than admit the truth.
By the way, Jolie, I love the header on your site. ![]()

I think she’s perfect. Really, it’s all a matter of taste. If a woman’s health isn’t threatened, she should have a right to look however she wants. (And men should be free to enjoy looking at them.)

i believe keira 100%
seriously the pictures i see of her like the recent ones of her in Hawaii she looks fit, not anorexic
if she was her ribs would be popping out but all you see is healthy abs and muscle
so i think people should just leave her alone about this
she gave her answer. and you have to deal with it because its not like the media controls her life and decisions

Isn’t that how it always is? They deny it because they think it can never happen to them.
